A Silvaner and Pinot Blanc blend. Fresh, very pleasant, and fruity with a good body, and opened tea and mineral aromas. Well balanced with an excellent freshness. A nice dry wine with an enjoyable fruit. Easy-drinking, crispy wine. Match with starters, white fishes, mussels, and cold fish pate.

List 17.99 Pale yellow. Delicate fruit-driven aromas of peach, pear and apple. Supple, round and ripe, with nice intensity and balance to the fruit flavors. Finishes fresh and firm.

90 Robert Parker The 2005 Rayas Chateauneuf du Pape blanc is a beauty. It is full-bodied with great acidity and richness. The 2005s at this renowned estate, both the Cotes du Rhones from the Fonselette estate and the Chateauneuf du Papes, are cool-climate style wines with some austerity but admirable delicacy and lightness. I didn't think they were among the vintage's strongest efforts, but they are certainly very much in keeping with the style of past Jacques Reynaud wines.

Floral and aromatic, with peach, nectarine and spicy melon flavors that are intense and vivid, lingering on the finish. Has a fleshy texture and refreshing acidity. Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat Canelli, Chardonnay, and Viognier.

89--RP--A slightly waxier, more honeyed style, with loads of peaches and tropical fruits, is the 2008 Roussanne/Viognier. This wine, aged partly in barrel and partly in tank, is an exuberant, seductive style of dry white to drink over the next year as well.

Don't be fooled by it's easy drinking and approachable nature, each taste reveals another layer of subtle complexity. The Layers is a blend of 5 grape varieties Semillon, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gew?rtztraminer and Muscat picked from different vineyards throughout the Barossa and Adelaide regions. A great wine to complement many modern food dishes. This is the third release of such a blend for Peter Lehmann Wines. Enjoy!

This wonderful white Colombelle is a blend of two indigenous grapes from Gascogne in southwest France: Colombard (70%) and Ugni Blanc (30%). It is crisp and fresh displaying floral and fruity notes and a round, yet dry palate loaded with grapefruit, mango and white peaches. Delicious!

89 pts RP The Pillar Box offerings begin with the 2008 Pillar Box White, a blend of 67% Sauvignon Blanc, 28% Verdelho, and 5% Chardonnay. Light straw-colored, it offers up a fragrant bouquet of lime, grapefruit, and kiwi with a touch of fresh herbs. On the palate, hints of pineapple and other tropical fruits emerge. This smooth-textured, crisp, refreshing wine over-delivers in a big way. Drink it over the next 12-18 months.

The contrast between the Chenin's minerality and the creamy Chardonnay is somewhat reminiscent of sweet and sour cooking. Fresh, bold and full of flavour at entry with underlying notes of ripe grapes, followed by suave complexity. Faintly floral shades of vanilla vie for position with lingering traces of toffee, while a touch of saltiness leads to a pleasantly surprising finish.
