91-93 - RP, 92 WS. Ch?teau de Rayne-Vigneau 2007 is a white - sweet/dessert wine, made by Ch?teau de Rayne-Vigneau. Its origin is Sauternes in Sauternais, Bordeaux, France. It is made from a S?millon-Sauvignon Blanc blend. It is produced from the 2007 harvest.

Bouquet reminiscent of blackberries, cherries and cinnamon. A powerful wine with a good structure, hearty but harmoniously balanced tannins and a long finish. Pairings: Drink slightly chilled. It makes an ideal patio wine and is an excellent companion with game and hearty dishes. Perfect also with old, ripened Gouda or young Parmesan.

Gerard Perses tiny vineyard was cropped at 26 hectoliters per hectare, and the final blend was 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc (14.5% alcohol). It boasts great intensity, a dense purple color, and beautiful aromas of sweet mulberries, black cherries, cedar, crushed rocks, and white chocolate as well as a chalky character (which gives the wine superb minerality). The wine is expansively flavored, and the tannins are remarkably sweet and well-integrated. An atypical blockbuster for the 2007 vintage, it should drink beautifully for 15-20 years.

90 RATING! RP Silky in texture, dripping with ripe plum and beef juices, and loaded with saline, savory, smoky, and faintly bitter herbal notes, it finishes with richness and grip astonishing for its price.

Kosher. This assertive red shows black cherry, coffee and light herb notes in a chewy structure with firm tannins. It's clean and reveals good concentration. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Gamay.

This substantial 2007 (a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot) exhibits a deep ruby/purple-tinged color along with a big, sweet kiss of licorice, forest floor, tobacco leaf, black currants, and cherries. It possesses a lovely texture, a round, ample mouthfeel, sweet tannin, and low acidity. It is drinking well now, and should continue to evolve for a decade or more.

Harvested in Canada's crisp winter, the grapes are frozen on the vine. This vintage shines with an alluring assortment of fresh nectarine, papaya, lychee, tangerine and orange blossoms. These exquisite fruit flavors, combined with invigorating acidity, offer multiple layers of balanced pleasure.

93-96 WS Shows a super nose of crushed blueberry and blackberry, with hints of raspberry. Full-bodied, offering a fabulous core of fruit and ripe tannins that caress your palate for minutes. Love the chocolate and blueberry character. Wonderful texture.
