Green-tinted pale yellow. Intense, flamboyant French oak aromas are grounded by accompanying wafts of jasmine, lemon, and campfire. Great spice on the broad midpalate, where the wine reveals its nearly full-bodied stature, but still manages to show zippy acids on finish. Possesses the extract, weight, and character of a village Chassagne Montrachet, but for a fraction of the going rate. Long spicy finish, where a hint of pineapple emerges. For wine lovers with a low threshold for oak, this is not for you.
