LA FLEUR DE GAY [POMEROL] 1990 750ML

Slowly fading from its hedonistic peak, this is still an outstanding wine with plenty of Pomerol character. Flowers, chocolate, licorice, cherry and tobacco scents are right in front of you. Medium bodied, elegant, soft and available, the silky cherries and dark chocolate finishes with a bit of dust in the texture. Popped and poured, decanting is not necessary, and neither is further aging. [JB 12/27/2020]
