Both of these wineries are the vision of Sashi Moorman and Rajat Parr. While Raj no longer is associated with the brands as he is pursuing other projects, these wineries are their babies. Both are still great friends and share the same philosophies in vineyard growing and winemaking. Both projects are about the land in which they are grown, Evening Land hailing entirely from Seven Springs Vineyard in Eola Amity Hills in Oregon and Sandhi mostly coming from the Domaine de La Cote Vineyards that Sashi owns in Santa Barbara (there are a few other sources for the Sandhi wines as well throughout the region). Farming is always organic. Winemaking is simple and understated. The literally cool places these wines come from tell the story. Beautiful expressions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir!
