The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard showed nicely, although it has lots of oak and smokiness that will need some time to integrate. Spiced black cherries, blackberries, toasty oak, espresso, and scorched earth aromas all give way to a medium to full-bodied Cabernet with a wonderful sense of elegance and purity on the palate, ripe tannins, and outstanding length.
