94 Points - Wine Enthusiast In keeping with Gimonnet's dry style, this is almost bone dry and as sharp as a knife. Behind the steely texture, it is fruity as well, with tight apple and strong citrus flavors. It's a tense and nervy style with depth of flavor and concentration. 100% Chardonnay (08/2023)

The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Oger Grand Cru is a Champagne of notable distinction. Bright and focused, with striking depth, the Oger has a lot going on. Smoke, crushed rocks, slate and a whole range of savory accents complement a core of citrus fruit nicely. The Oger is deceptive in its mid-weight structure but it packs a real punch. The Oger starts out slow, then gains volume through the mid-palate and finish.
A blend of the 2015 and 2016 vintages that was disgorged in July 2018 with five grams per liter dosage, Gimonnet's NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Oger is an inviting, pillowy wine, bursting with aromas of white flowers, nougat, nashi pear and honeycomb. Medium to full-bodied, open and charming, its enveloping core of fruit is girdled by racy acids and complemented by an elegant pinpoint mousse.
