93 Points! Jeb Dunnuck. Clean and bright with a greenish-yellow hue. The nose is pure and fragrant, with aromas of white fruit — such as apple and pear — along with floral and citrus notes typical of Albariño. On the palate, it is intense, fresh, and well-balanced, with a persistent, saline-accented finish.

A straight, linear, focused Albariño with searingly good acidity, texture, and modest weight, the 2024 Albariño Lagar De Cervera also offers a generous mouthfeel. Coming from the warmer climate of O Rosal, with the tension and verticality of the Salnes Valley, the fruit is blended together and aged on the lees five months in stainless steel. A voluminous, mineral-driven white grown in granitic soils, it lingers in complex layers of apple, melon, and almond.
Grapefruit zest and underripe white peaches on the nose, with a lift of brine. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, with tender texture and linear acidity, complemented by a saline thread and tightly wound fruit. Focused, refreshing and energetic.
