97 Points! James Suckling. Extremely perfumed, graceful and silky, this is an extremely sensual and beautifully balanced expression of grenache. Full-bodied, but as light as air. I love the floral and creme de cassis aromas. Super-long finish.

Extremely perfumed, graceful and silky, this is an extremely sensual and beautifully balanced expression of grenache. Full-bodied, but as light as air. I love the floral and creme de cassis aromas. Super-long finish. A grenache-based cuvee, one-third of which was matured in foudre, one-third in new oak and one-third in concrete tanks.
A single-vineyard Grenache from a sandy portion of La Crau, the 2021 Chateauneuf du Pape Cornelia Constanza seamlessly marries ripe cherries and milk chocolate on the nose. It's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a fine, supple and seductive texture and tremendous length on the finish.
One of the vintage's strongest efforts is the 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cornelia Constanza, a 100% Grenache all from the sandy soils near the estate that was brought up mostly in concrete, with 30% each in foudre and new barrels. Gorgeous wild strawberries, redcurrants, peppery herbs, sandalwood, and loamy earth define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied, has a supple, elegant mouthfeel, and a beautiful finish. It will shine for a solid 8-10 years.
